Party! Sweet Cheeks Baking Company turns three years old

I met the Sweet Cheeks Baking Company gals a little over a year ago. I had no idea, of course, that they would become some of my dearest friends but I meant it when I said in this post from their party last year that they make you feel like an old friend the minute you meet them. Thank you, for all of the love and support you’ve offered me both professionally and personally over the past year. It has been such a joy to see your business grow! You all are AMAZING at what you do.

The party was a huge success! I know I met a ton of new friends. :) I’m excited to see what we all accomplish together in 2010!!

Sarah & Brad – Paradise Gardens Wedding – Part I

I truly loved Sarah & Brad’s wedding. I’m so so excited to share the images with you. But I wanted to start out by introducing you to Sarah & Brad’s florist: Cherry Blossom Floral Designs. In a word: WOW. Kiyoko and Dorothy totally rocked it out on Sarah & Brad’s florals. I showed up at Paradise Gardens about half an hour early. I can’t help it. I’m insanely early for everything I do in life. There’s nothing worse than feeling anxious and rushed before a wedding. I think it’s an awful way to start the day off. So there I was, way early, and pretty much all of the flowers were set and ready to go. Centerpieces placed, cake table and gazebo decorated, bouquets, corsages and boutineers waiting near the bride’s room. I was thrilled. I was able to get started on all of the little details right away. No running around looking for bouquets, not worrying that maybe the dining area wouldn’t be set in time to get a photo before the guests rushed in.

But what really impressed me most was when I found Kiyoko and Dorothy waiting near the bride’s room for her to arrive. They waited maybe 20 minutes even because it was important to Kiyoko to be there to personally present Sarah with her bouquet and bridesmaids flowers. I knew instantly that I had met some amazing ladies that CARE so much about what they do. It’s absolutely priceless. It showed so much about Kiyoko and Dorothy as people.

I would never recommend another wedding vendor to a bride and groom that I wouldn’t personally hire for my own wedding. And I would absolutely commission Cherry Blossom Floral Designs for my own wedding so make sure to click here to check them out!
